KIEV, June 9 – Volodymyr Lytvyn, the parliamentary speaker who at the request of Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko joined secret constitutional talks last week, Tuesday confirmed amendments anticipated restricting elections, civil liberties and the freedom of speech.
Lytvyn said Tymoshenko and Regions Party leader Viktor Yanukovych, at a joint meeting on Thursday gave him the final draft of the amendment, asked to read it and to support it.
