KIEV, June 9 – Ukraine’s recent money printing to pay Russian natural gas debts was within limits allowed by the International Monetary Fund, and will not jeopardize a planned $3 billion loan, President Viktor Yushchenko said Tuesday.

Yushchneko on Friday ordered the National Bank of Ukraine to print 3.8 billion hryvnias that was through a complicated transaction converted into $500 million, allowing Naftogaz to pay Gazprom for gas imported in May.
