KIEV, May 21 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny, the national oil and gas company, cut capital investments due to financial crisis, but has dramatically increased payments in taxes and fees to the government, the Energy and Fuel Ministry reported Thursday.

Naftogaz reduced capital investment 18.7% on the year to 795.8 million hryvnias in January-April, but had almost trippled payments of taxes to 16.9 billion hryvnias in the same period, the ministry reported.
