KIEV, April 15 – President Viktor Yushchenko on Wednesday gave the government and the National Bank of Ukraine four days to come up with a tool for recapitalization of commercial banks that suffer from serious liquidity problems.

Underscoring the urgency of the matter, Yushchenko also asked a team of the International Monetary Fund - currently holding talks with the government - to stay in Ukraine until the issue is solved.
