KIEV, April 9 – The government managed to get inflation under control in Ukraine, Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn said Thursday in comments over the slower pace of consumer prices hikes registered in March.
“Thanks to titanic efforts of the government and the National Bank of Ukraine, we managed to stop the inflation,” Danylyshyn said in an interview with Channel 5 television. “There is no threat of inflation in 2009.”
