KIEV, March 12 – Kostiantyn Hryshchenko, Ukraine’s ambassador to Russia, may be nominated by President Viktor Yushchenko as the country’s next foreign minister, a television report stated Thursday, citing a person in the presidential office.
Hryshchenko, who briefly served as the foreign minister under President Leonid Kuchma, had been advising former Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych on foreign policy before his appointment as the ambassador more than a year ago.
