KIEV, March 10 – Auctions to make electricity exports to Europe could be resumed if there is free capacity available, said First Deputy Fuel and Energy Minister Oleh Buhayev.

"If free capacity were available, I support the holding of auctions... but now everything is contracted at the Burshtynska Thermal Plant [which is linked with the European energy system]," he said.
