KIEV, March 5 – The hryvnia's exchange rate is low due to the policy of the National Bank of Ukraine, which aims to destroy the economy and “sabotage” the government, according to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko.
"The Constitution bans the government from interfering in the NBU's work. I cannot support its policy of destroying the currency via a large devaluation," she said in an interview with French newspaper Le Monde ahead of her recent visit to France.
