KIEV, Feb. 24 - The Ukrainian government and the National Bank of Ukraine should develop a common position in order to receive a second tranche of an International Monetary Fund stand-by credit, President Viktor Yushchenko said.
The president's position was given by Presidential Press Secretary Iryna Vannykova at a briefing on Tuesday.
"The head of state expects that the government and the National Bank of Ukraine will meet this week in order to come to a unified position as to the negotiations with the IMF," Vannykova added.
