KIEV, Feb. 19 – The cash gap of the general fund in the middle of February fell to UAH 2.5-2.7 billion, according to data from the State Treasury of Ukraine issued on Tuesday.

According the report, as of early 2009 it was UAH 7.7 billion, and in one day in January alone it fell to UAH 6.2 billion, although by the end of the month it soared to UAH 7.95 billion.

As of Feb. 13 to Feb. 16, the amount of funds on the common treasury account is equal to the level seen in 2003.
