KIEV, Feb. 6 - Ukraine will move rapidly in raising cash from selling its emission allowances following the government’s order to transfer 50 million of Assigned Amount Units to Japan, a person familiar with the situation said Friday.

The order is the latest in Ukraine’s efforts to capitalize on the Kyoto Protocol and comes as the country has been holding talks with other undisclosed countries to sign similar deals.
