KIEV, Feb. 6 – The outflow of deposits from the Ukrainian banking system in January grew to UAH 16 billion due to the political discussion over the actions of the National Bank of Ukraine and the banking system as a whole, the first deputy head of the parliamentary committee for finance and banking activities and the head of the council of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, Stanyslav Arzhevitin, said.

"If in December Ukrainians withdrew UAH 100 million from deposits, after all these shows they saw in January, UAH 16 billion left the banking system," he said.
