KIEV, Feb. 5 - Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko on Thursday rejected Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s claims that Ukraine was responsible for the disruption in gas supplies to the European Union last month.
“Ukraine is not responsible for all these processes,” Tymoshenko told reporters in Parliament.
Tymoshenko was reacting to comments made by Medvedev earlier Thursday alleging that Ukraine must bear legal responsibility for compensating European consumers that have suffered losses due to the disruptions.
