KIEV, Feb. 3 –It is important for Europe to show its interest in Ukraine today, when the Ukrainian economy is among the ones most affected by the international crisis, according to financier George Soros.
"In the early 1990s, Europe refused to help Ukraine and other ex-USSR countries, and now it is paying a high price for this. We must learn the lessons of the past," he said in his speech at the fifth Davos Ukrainian Lunch organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and the international investment advisory group EastOne as a part of the World Economic Forum.
