KIEV, Jan. 26 - CJSC Eurocar (Solomonovo, Zakarpattia region), a producer of Volkswagen Group cars, in 2008 produced 35,892 cars, which is 21.1% up year-over-year, the company's press service reported on Jan. 23.

According to the report, the production growth was first reached due to a high pace of growth in car production in the period preceded the crisis, as in particular, the plant assembled only 389 cars, which is 3.3 times down to November 2008 and 8.3 times down to December 2007 (3,224 cars).
