KIEV, Jan. 20 - Ukraine and Russia should be able to avoid disputes over natural gas supplies and prices during the next 10 years after signing a long-term contract, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Tuesday.
The contract, signed by Russian gas giant Gazprom and Ukrainian state gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny on Monday, ends a 20-day standoff between Russia and Ukraine that had disrupted gas supplies to the European Union.
