KIEV, Dec. 18 – The Antimonopoly Committee has officially recommended that Kiev city state administration revise and set economically justifiable tariffs for passenger transportation by electric transport of Kiev Metropoliten and Kyivpastrans.
The decision was unanimously made at a meeting held on Dec. 16, the committee reported.
"Kiev city state administration, Kiev Metropoliten and Kyivpastrans should cut their tariffs to the economically justifiable level. Otherwise, the committee will have to apply tough sanctions, which can be up to 10% of annual earnings of each company, and it's unlikely that this is in the interest of carriers.
