KIEV, Dec. 12 – Parliament plans to introduce a 12% temporarily targeted surcharge to import duties on some types of meat, alcohol, light industry products, fats, butter and cars for six months.

A total of 264 out of 378 MPs registered in the hall on Thursday supported the draft law No. 3,379 on amendments to some Ukrainian laws in order to improve the state of Ukraine's balance of payments due to the international financial crisis.
