KIEV, Dec. 5 - Ukraine’s steel sector, the backbone of the country’s economy, has been gradually increasing production after receiving more orders over the past four weeks, a state-owned steel industry analysis group reported Friday.

Ukrainian steel companies are currently working at 45.3% of their capacity, up from 32.1% a month ago, UkrpromZovnishExpretyza reported.
