KIEV, Dec. 2 - Ukraine’s transit of Russian natural gas to Europe dropped 29.4% year-on-year to 8.4 billion cubic meters in November, reflecting sharply falling demand, UkrTransGaz, the state-owned gas shipper, reported Tuesday.
Ukraine’s transit of gas in November has also fallen 1.2% compared with October, when 8.5 billion cu m of gas was moved, UkrTransGaz said. Ukraine’s gas transit in November 2007 was 11.9 billion cu m, according to the company.
