KIEV, Oct. 31 - Arcelor Mittal, the world’s biggest producer of steel, asked the Ukrainian government to reschedule some of its commitments undertaken during the acquisition of Ukrainian steelmaker in 2005 due to falling demand for steel.
Arcelor Mittal suggested creating a join team with the Industrial Policy Ministry and the State Property Fund, the country’s privatization agency, to re-schedule the commitments, the ministry reported in a statement.
