KIEV, Sept. 3 – The eighth Council of Europe conference of ministers for migration affairs entitled will take place in Kiev on Sept. 4-5.
Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko are expected to address the opening session, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry's media liaison office reported on Wednesday.
The opening session will be also addressed by Swedish Migration and Asylum Policy Minister Tobias Billstrom (Sweden holds the chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe), Parliamentary Assembly Vice-President and Migration Committee Chairperson Corien Jonker, Council of Europe Congress President Yavuz Mildon and French Minister for Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Development Partnership Brice Hortefeux.
