KIEV, Sept. 1 – President Viktor Yushchenko expects that the government will resume work on amendments to the 2008 national budget, after which its revenues target would be increased by some 10%, from UAH221 billion to UAH243-244 billion, according to the first deputy head of the presidential secretariat, Oleksandr Shlapak.
He said inflation this year would exceed 18%, compared to the cabinet's forecast of 15.9%, which would give an additional UAH2.5 billion in revenues, according to the secretariat.
