KIEV, Aug. 1 – The 2.5% increase in expenses of the 2008 national budget approved by Parliament will moderately increase inflation pressures, according to the head of the group of advisors to the head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Valeriy Lytvytsky.
"There are no doubts that [additional expenses] would impact [inflation]. The pressure would be moderate due to the fact that industrial consumption would dominate in their structure," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
