MOSCOW, June 27 – Tatneft in December 2007 bought a 49.6% stake in Switzerland's AmRuz Trading AG and a 100% stake in SeaGroup International Inc. (the United States) for $23.9 million and $57.1 million respectively, according to a report of Tatneft for 2007 under U.S. GAAP standards.

SeaGroup International owns a 9.96% stake in CJSC Ukrtatnafta (Kremenchuk oil refinery) and Amruz Trading owns an 8.336% stake. Before the acquisition of shares in the companies, Tatneft owned an 8.613% stake in Ukrtatnafta, and another 28.778% is under the management of Tatneft until 2011 under an agreement with the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
