KIEV, June 20 – The difference between the official and market hryvnia exchange rate is not to exceed 1%, according to Oleksandr Savchenko, deputy head of the National Bank of Ukraine.

"In the near future, the difference between them [the official and market exchange rate] will not exceed 1%," Savchenko said in an interview with Delo newspaper.

He said that the official exchange rate would be 60-70% dependent on the market rate.
