KIEV, June 9 - Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko will seek to shut down dangerous coal mines in the country following a deadly explosion that had killed at least one and trapped 37 miners on Sunday.

Tymoshenko ordered the Coal Industry Ministry to prepare a list of mines extracting coal from levels below 1,000 meters, and said a special team will study whether these mines should continue operation.
