KIEV, June 8 – Ukraine’s consumer prices continued to increase rapidly in May, breaching the level of 31% if measured over the past 12 months and underscoring the government’s failure to get things under control.
The prices rose 31.1% in May from May 2007, up from 30.2% annual inflation in April, making Ukraine’s consumer price growth one of the worst such indicators in the world.
