PARIS, May 30 – A first consignment of oil is to be pumped through the Odessa-Brody oil pipeline from Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic, Serhiy Korsunsky, director of the economic cooperation department at the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, said at a CIS Oil and Gas summit in Paris.
"By July 1, direct pumping should start. All conditions have been made at the governmental level. It only depends on the companies," he said.
He said that the first 40,000 ton consignment of oil would be shipped to the Czech Republic's Kralupy refinery through Slovakia.
