KYIV, Nov 13 – American Holtec International has invited specialists from Energoatom to join the project team that will work on the deployment of a small modular reactor (SMR) SMR-300 at the Palisades NPP site in the USA.

Energoatom reported this with reference to Holtec President and CEO Kris Singh on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.

"The participation of Energoatom representatives in the stages of construction, testing and commissioning of the SMR at the Palisades NPP site (the USA) will allow the company to gain experience for the further implementation of this technology in Ukraine," the company noted.
