Ukraine’s goods exports rise 17.5% on year to $3.2-bln in August
Journal Staff Report

KYIV, Sept 6 - Ukraine exported goods worth almost $3.2 billion in August, which is 6.4% more than in July 2024, and 17.5% more than in August 2023, according to a report on the Economy Ministry's website on Friday.

"For the second month in a row, exports have been growing thanks to the early start of the harvest and improved maritime logistics. In August, we increased cargo turnover by sea transport by 224,700 tons, or 3.6% compared to July. Ukraine remains the guarantor of food security in the world," First Deputy Prime Minister, Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said.
