KYIV, Sept 3 – Serhiy Kuyun, Director of the A-95 Consulting Group, expects an increase in the price of auto gas, which is forecasted to reach UAH 33 per liter, while gasoline and diesel prices are likely to remain stable, despite the introduction of new excise taxes on September 1.

"We don't expect an increase in gasoline and diesel prices at the pumps. There are three reasons for this: a minor increase in excise tax (UAH 1.5-2 per liter), large reserves built up by traders ahead of September 1 (with the old excise rate), and favorable external market conditions (prices remained relatively low throughout August)," Kuyun wrote on his Facebook page on Monday.
