KYIV, Sept 3 – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, who is on a visit to Kyiv.

"The main focus of our discussion was on strengthening nuclear safety in Ukraine, and ensuring constant monitoring not only of the condition of the NPPs, but also of the substations critical to their operation," Zelenskyy said in Telegram channel on Tuesday.

The parties agreed on the need to extend the mandate of the current IAEA monitoring missions to nuclear power plants in Ukraine in order to ensure continuous monitoring not only of the condition of nuclear power plants, but also of substations critical for their operation, the press service of the president reported.
