KYIV, April 17 – Acting Board Chairman of National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom, Petro Kotin, and the President and CEO of Holtec International, Kris Singh, virtually signed an agreement for the production of components for Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) in Ukraine, as reported by the Ministry of Energy.

According to the ministry's press release on Wednesday, the agreement entails establishing capacities in Ukraine for manufacturing nuclear systems, structures, and components for SMRs. It also covers other needs related to the application of atomic energy in Ukraine and neighboring countries.
