KYIV, April 16 – Ukraine will not lose its leadership in sunflower oil trade, the harvest in 2024 will be 2% higher than a year earlier, exports will not be lower than last year, the information and analytical agency UkrAgroConsult reported.

“Ukraine and Russia traditionally remain the key producers of sunflowers and sunflower oil in the world. Since the beginning of the war, negative scenarios were voiced about the prospects of Ukraine and the loss of primacy in the sunflower oil trade. However, today a more positive scenario is being realized,” analysts noted.
