KYIV, Apr 16 – In order to guarantee the food security of Ukraine and the world, it is necessary to create a threat-resistant supply system for agricultural products disrupted after February 24, 2022, First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky said during a speech at a meeting of the NATO Food and Agricultural Planning Committee.
"Russia's full-scale invasion significantly affected food security and the activities of the agricultural sector of Ukraine. In particular, the logistics chains for the export of agricultural products to world markets were affected. Therefore, it is necessary to create a threat-resistant supply system for agricultural products in order to guarantee the food security of Ukraine and the world," Vysotsky said, as the ministry's press service reported on Tuesday.
