KYIV, April 10 – The Federal Council of Switzerland at a meeting on Wednesday decided to allocate CHF 5 billion ($5.53 billion) for the economic development and long-term recovery of Ukraine until 2036 as part of strengthening existing cooperation, according to the Swiss government portal.
"As a first step, around CHF 1.5 billion is to be drawn from the international cooperation budget by 2028. This amount clearly demonstrates Switzerland's solidarity with the people affected by the war in Ukraine and will increase stability on the European continent," the report says.
