KYIV, April 1 – Ukraine's Ministry of Finance received $118 million on a non-refundable basis from Japan as part of the World Bank's Health Enhancement And Lifesaving (HEAL) Ukraine Project and Housing Repair for People's Empowerment Project (HOPE).

"The funds raised under the HEAL and HOPE projects will help the Government to provide its citizens with proper aid, in particular to expand the range of medical services and access to them, as well as to overcome the consequences caused by Russia's armed aggression and rebuild Ukraine's housing infrastructure," the Ministry of Finance said on Monday, citing Minister Serhiy Marchenko.
