KYIV, May 30 – The external conditions for the four-year Extended Financing Facility (EFF) Arrangement for Ukraine, opened by the IMF at the end of March this year, have changed little, but during its second review, the IMF plans to pay more attention to the reforms of its second – post-war – stage, Chief of the IMF mission Gavin Gray has said.
The IMF plans in its next review to take a closer look at the type of reforms and policies that the IMF will consider in the second half of the program. And, in particular, the IMF will take a closer look at what kind of policies would help support Ukraine's aspirations to join the European Union, he said at a press conference on Tuesday following the results of the reached SLA on the first EFF review.
