KYIV, May 29 – In April 2023, the total state debt of Ukraine increased by 3.6% and reached a new historical maximum: in U.S. dollars by $4.37 billion, to $124.28 billion, in hryvnias by UAH 159.9 billion, to UAH 4 trillion 544.9 billion, according to data on the Finance Ministry's website.

According to them, the direct state debt over the previous month increased by 4.0%, to $115.08 billion, or to UAH 4.208 trillion, and amounted to 92.6% of the total public and publicly guaranteed debt.
