KYIV, May 25 - United Mining and Chemical Company, under whose management Vilnohirsk Mining and Metallurgical Combine (GOK, Dnipropetrovsk region) and Irshansk Mining and Processing Combine (Zhytomyr region) were transferred, is actively negotiating about sale of products of the Irshansk GOK branch to Western partners and plans to resume the extraction and enrichment of ilmenite concentrate at it at the level of 18,000 tonnes per month by the end of this year.
According to the company's press release, Dimitri Kalandadze, a member of the board of the company, announced this during a visit to the enterprise by representatives of the department of corporate rights of the state of the State Property Fund (SPF).
