KYIV, March 22 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) from April 1 will lift the ban on the withdrawal by non-residents of funds received from the payment of interest on the government’s Treasury bills, the NBU reported.
The NBU in May 2022 prohibited non-residents from repatriating funds invested in government bonds in order to stop outflow of cash during the war.
The NBU also said it postponed lifting ban on repatriating principal payments until security situation and macro-economic challenges improve.
