KYIV, Jan 25 – The volume of exports of furniture by Ukrainian manufacturers in 2022 amounted to $806.6 million, which is 23% lower than in pre-war 2021, board member of the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Manufacturers (UAFM) and coordinator of the development of furniture clusters Oksana Donska told Interfax-Ukraine.
"The volume of furniture exports for 2022 amounted to $806.6 million, which is $56.2 million more than the volume of exports of COVID 2020, but $244.5 million less than Ukraine exported in 2021. Nevertheless, despite the refusal of IKEA from cooperation with Ukrainian furniture manufacturers and a reduction in Jysk orders, the average annual growth rate of exports over the past six years has been 11.5%," Donska said.
