KYIV, Dec 1 – Oleksiy Chernyshov, the head of the board of Naftogaz Ukrayiny, at a meeting with G7 ambassadors and the EU delegation assessed the country's need for gas imports at 3 billion cubic meters (bcm) during this heating period, taking into account war risks.
"According to the preliminary calculations of the Ministry of Energy, taking into account war risks, an additional 3 billion cubic meters of gas is needed for the heating season, which in monetary terms today is more than $4 billion. For this we need the help of our foreign partners," he said.
