KYIV, Sept 29 – Ukraine received about $2 billion in external financing in September to cover the state budget deficit, compared with $4.69 billion in August, $2.75 billion in July and $3.37 billion in June, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said on Thursday.
"In September, we received about $2 billion. These are not the volumes we expected. But since we have the funds from the previous periods, plus the revenue base has grown compared to the beginning of the war, so we are now more calmly looking at our capabilities and needs," he said on the air of the national telethon.
