KYIV, Sept 8 – The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine does not consider a complete shutdown of all six nuclear power units of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in the conditions of its occupation as a priority option, according to the website of the inspectorate.
"The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate is studying all possible options, but, of course, not all of them will be used. That is, a complete shutdown of the ZNPP power units in occupation, conditions of hostilities with the danger of actually losing power for the plant's own needs is not a priority option, as the media interpret it," the inspectorate said.
