KYIV, Aug 10 – The total economic benefit from unblocking the export of agricultural products from Ukrainian seaports will amount to $5.5 billion according to optimistic expectations, while an average of 2 million tons of agricultural products per month are expected to be delivered to foreign markets by the end of this year, according to the website of the Center for Food Research and Land Use of KSE Institute on Tuesday.
At the same time, additional export earnings from the transshipment of Ukrainian agricultural products through seaports are estimated at $14.7 billion, or about 30% of Ukraine's total exports (calculated by the NBU for 2022 according to the pessimistic scenario).
