KYIV, Aug 8 – The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets has called on the United Nations (UN) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to send a security mission to the occupied Zaporizhia NPP.

"I once again call on the UN Secretary General, the IAEA and the entire world community to take possible measures to send a security mission to Zaporizhia NPP, fully demilitarize the NPP territory and provide safety guarantees to the employees of the nuclear power plant and residents of the town of Energodar for the maintenance of the plant. The relevant letters have been prepared and sent today," he wrote on his Facebook page.
