KYIV, Aug 3 – The international rating agency S&P Global Ratings has affirmed Kyiv's long-term credit rating at the level of "CCC +," despite the downgrade of Ukraine's rating to "CC," the outlook remains negative.
The affirmation, despite the downgrade of the foreign currency sovereign rating, reflects our view that Kyiv remains able and willing to continue meeting its debt service obligations in both foreign and local currencies, the agency said in a statement.
