KYIV, July 29 – The decline in real gross domestic product (GDP) of Ukraine in the third and fourth quarters of 2022 compared to the same period last year will slow down to 37.5% from 39.3% in the second quarter, the National Bank of Ukraine published such a forecast in the inflationary review on its website.
According to it, in the first quarter of 2023, the economy will also contract - by another 19%, given the base of the first quarter of this year, when the decline was 15.1%, and recovery will begin from the second quarter of next year.
